 I'm hoping this does well. I learned a lot when I did the food side challenge a few months ago, even though I wasn't able to participate for the whole month (we moved so that took up my time).

I usually make this dish when we've been invited to a BBQ or potluck with friends. It will serve around 8 to 12 people.

Broccoli Salad

2 Heads of Broccoli
1 Head of Cauliflower
1 Medium Red Onion diced
1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds
1/2 Cup Craisins
12 Strips of Bacon

Dressing:
1 Cup Mayonnaise
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Vinegar

Cook bacon, crumble and set aside. Cut florets off the heads of the broccoli and cauliflower and place into a large bowl. Add the onion, sunflower seeds, and craisins. In a small bowl mix the dressing. Pour over salad and add bacon. Stir well and chill for one hour before serving.

There seems to be a slight glare on the broccoli and greater DOF might have helped. The subject matter is also not engaging.

looks tasty. broccoli in the back is a tad dark, though. still could work in a cookbook. could be Pawdrix work.

The colors look good, white balance looks good. Not sure about the angle or crop. something about the front being cut off.. 6
