I would like to spend hours explaining all the intricacies on this photo because I think it is beautiful raw emotion but in truth I don't think it needs any explaining.

The blurriness doesn't work for me on this one.
10/18/2002 05:24:00 PM
Yes, it is affection, and quite nice too. But it's not Lust, sorry.
10/18/2002 04:38:00 AM
could this photo seriously e more blurry, artistic licence perhaps?
10/18/2002 02:45:00 AM
I can only assume that the blurring was intentional but IMO it does not add anything to the photo. Maybe it would have been better if the couple were blurred and the background was not.

Affection is not a sin.
10/17/2002 07:51:00 PM
Where is the sin?
10/17/2002 03:42:00 PM
that's what flash are for.
10/17/2002 04:09:00 AM
too blurry/out of focus for my taste
10/16/2002 10:32:00 PM
Terrible focus, light, subject posing, setting. Can find nothing good about it. This is a joke, isn't it?
10/16/2002 08:20:00 PM
Sorry, whole picture too blurry
10/16/2002 01:54:00 PM
I didn't know that was a sin!
10/16/2002 08:15:00 AM
Affection is not a sin. Fails on topic. Blur does not add to the artistry by the way. composition is fair.
10/15/2002 08:21:00 PM
This to me looks blurry and out of focus.

Are you suggesting affection is a sin? Maybe I don't get it, unless it is really lust.
The blurriness of the picture is probably on purpose, but that and harsh light and shadows in the corner make it a bit unappealling.
10/15/2002 07:22:00 AM
Is this meaning lust?
10/15/2002 02:38:00 AM
I like the blur, it makes the lust seem more spur of the moment and exciting. Good photo. 7 - Konador

the blur adds to the shot greatly. The shot is surprisingly effective. 8 wingy
10/14/2002 10:12:00 PM
not a very good picture, lighting and focus.
10/14/2002 09:56:00 PM
Nice idea... and good lighting. Too much affection going on that you guys couldn't stay still? :) - JB

i really like the sence of movement in this photo.
10/14/2002 07:47:00 PM
So much motion, even the curtains appear blurred. 5 Swash

This has the potential to be a very good shot. It's far to grainy and blurry to me, but it does have good placement.
10/14/2002 04:18:00 PM
initial reaction -- don't like the title ... i'm assuming you are going for 'lust', to me, affection is something different. but then, this is a photo challenge, not a title challenge, so that doesn't change my vote.
challenge -- met
technical -- i'm positive you blurred this one deliberately, but it doesn't work so well for me.
composition -- there's something in the corner that looks as if it is sticking out of the guy's head. i'd love to be able to see a little more of the faces, too. the curtains go well with the overall colors of the photo, good choice.

Interesting idea. 5/10 for the effort.
10/14/2002 12:05:00 PM
Is even affection considered sinfull now? Well, brand me with a scarlett A and call me a sinner
10/14/2002 10:36:00 AM
The blurriness is distracting.
10/14/2002 09:52:00 AM
I like the composition and colors. Is the lack of focus intentional?
10/14/2002 04:59:00 AM
This is really underexposed. I don't mind soft focus, but I don't like blurry.
