[quote=sherpet] I totally agree with you Sarah, salmiakki.
I also look at it sometimes, and think, I loved to have done this.....
That is why it is a favorite image in my favorites, and also cogerox a favorite photographer.
Wow, shez, I am honored. Thanks. |

Something about this is very appealing to me. Love the orange in the background but mostly the diagonal line. :~)

Looks a bit scary! Wonderful macro, and very cool to see this in a different way than normal shots of plants. |

Love this macro of this cactus/succulent, and I love these plants so much for photography.
Take a look at my images in my portfolio, as i have a large collection of these wonderful sculptural plants in my garden.
I like the angle of this one and the DOC is amazing.....
ps; I suggest you leave it in the pot, as they go wild and produce many pups or babies all around the base of the plant in no time.
If you are going to plant it in the garden, just cut or take away the bottom part of the drum, and leave the sides of the drum on the plant, and bury iit wuth the side still around the plant, and the base removed.

Killer. That central thorn looks like a dragon's thumb. |
