What a lovely presentation.
I like to share something with you that I learned some time ago with challenges entries. Do your wonderful set-ups, re your ideas and compositions, as you have a good artistic eye. Add a simple thin black, or thin white border, or NO border, as I feel your images are strong enough to stand alone. Leave the more fancy wider colored borders for 'side challenges' and fun things.
My scores have definitely improved a lot, since sticking to this rule. This then makes your average improve more steadily, with each challenge you enter.
Just a suggestion, as you really are doing some excellent images, with very pleasing compositions. I look forward to seeing a lot more from you, in the side challenges, and also challenges. |

| I like the use of the shallow DOF and the bright background. Overall, good presentation. All this needs is just some more polishing (remove hair on stem, and needle thing in the background what is that?). I agree with what others said regarding the OOF cherry. It's not a big deal but would have helped your score to have it in focus. In addition, the white background could be whiter/brighter. On my end it shows as slightly off white. |

| overall, this is a well done photo, but the only thing that bothers me is the focus is on the raspberry instead of teh cherry that is in the front. lighting, colors and everything else are really executed nicely. |

| The focus here seems a little weird to me. I generally find it a bit weaker to focus on the midground of a still life. Sometimes it can work, but I think it looks just a bit awkward. The composition is also pretty busy. I can understand the need to make it interesting, but don't try to hard to throw stuff in. The lighting, however, and I really like how the colors came out. |

| This looks great - I love Tartes aux Fruits. I possibly would have had more of the same tarts in the background - that green cubey sweet distracts me a bit. |
