Too much area out of focus. Very bright white area in sky detracts a lot. |

Great perspective! I would've liked to see a slightly greater DOF though. Blurry foreground makes my eyes hurt too :( |

Tripod,smaller aperure will focus better on the subject (tree,I think).
this way looks like a macro shot of a black sheep. |

I have a similar shot, but with a cherry tree. I was concerned that it doesn't read very quickly or convincingly as a tree. At first, I thougth it was a lava flow. :) Perhaps re-framing vertically and backing off just a touch would "fee" more like a tree. |
