 I love to visit Buttonwood farms in the summer. The ice cream is delicious and the farm is so charming. They grow these beautiful sunflowers in large fields. It is quite a site in July.

Processing: Crop, selective color, noise ninja, USM at 25,50,0 for contrast, save for web, sharpen post resize.

well i would'v remembered if i'd seen this ..
its absolutely amazing . such detail and also its a bit like an optical illusion . those colours are stunning .. and the shapes .. this is most definitely a WOW . !!!..::)

Incredible texture and almost dizzying pattern in the center. And those colors! You can't keep a sad face looking at a sunflower like this.

Awesome explosion of color. Yellows are so easy to blow, but you did a great job taming yours. And the obvious... your composition is beautifully in your face... kapow!

It does look like you lost some detail somewhere. Maybe with the super tight F4 you were just a tad out of focus. It doesn't look like motion blur, but I suppose it could be that gentle summer breeze that us photographers all hate. To me it's more noticeable on the outer stamen.

WOW... WOW... WOW... what a BEAUTY.....

A great image with so much detail and awesome textures....
Just look how it fills the frame.....
I also LOVE the strong various 'yellow' tones of color.
A FAVORITE for me.....
