"Collection"? Maybe flea market. Looks too cluttered to me. Chear picture though

Hightlights are a little bright.

It looks a little flat to me. Something else to try would be a tighter crop on the toys so that they fill the pic. Still would be a *bit* of a stretch challenge-wise, though. :-) 4 kathleenm

I think that perhaps this shot it taken from to head on... perhaps a more angled view would have been a little more appealing.

In fact, any toy collector would be PROUD to own this. He or she might ENVY your ownership! (But then I earn my living as an editor not a photographer). It's an impressive collection! I certainly envy the Longaberger basket on the table!! But the composition strikes me as more of a recording (maybe for insurance purposes) than as an artistic well composed phot. How very triking a still life of just the tops would be! Macro might especially bring out the detail. I encourage you the use the wealth of beauty shown in this photo in a more striking composition. The raw material is certainly here!

It's just a shelf of toys in my eyes. It means a lot to you and probably other toy collectors out there, but this subject is completely dull to me (and probably most others), and you've done nothing creative with it to make it interesting to me or somehow show it's greater value. It needs some more visual appeal or some deeper meaning to it. 2 wingy

you could have arranged these differently too make it more appealing.

nice collection but doesn't make me think of sin.

I'm not a toy collector so I don't know the value of the items in the back - but they all look to be pretty old toys and in excellent shape. The shot seems to a couple of stops overexposed. Great idea. - JB

Beautiful collection. I too and envious, but the image itself is lacking something, but I don't know what, though.

nice collection. the shot it'd a bit bright and it need more contrast, IMO.

Without the title, I would have no idea how this relates to the 7 deadly sins. Still, even with the title, I'm hard pressed to think of envy. The photo seems too bright/overexposed and the posed look of the toys and harsh white background do little for it. Perhaps a more subdued background wih fewer toys; also maybe closer to them so that their antiquity was more apparent. shedonist

I dig the collection but I don't think it's a very interesting photo...I think a toy collection would be more interesting if it had a childlike organization to it. For instance, I really don't like the way all the handles on the shovels are so straight and the blocks could be a little more jumbled up, etc. Just an opinion...

Very tenuous link between the challenge and the subject.. in fact, were it not for the title there would be NO link with the challenge.. gonna have to mark you down here as you relied on your title far too much.. 3 marksimms

For me, this portrays greed more than envy. lhall

I'll say, nice, love the tops!! Tin. Very pretty colors. Good luck.

Stretching the "sinful" reference a little bit too much for me.
