Beautifully focused. Love the shape of this weed, as you call it. Lighting is interesting the way it kind of highlights the leaves. Great shot.

I loved this right from the thumbnail! The backlighting really showcases the "prickly" nature of this weed. Very sharp and good image all around.

Thistles; one of my favorite weeds because they attract some great butterflies and moths. Plus their texture and shape are always interesting. Like the backlighting; agree that this is a bit oversharpened.
