 Okay, since you asked... :)
Part of the workshop was to break into groups of 4 or 5, dress a model from the costume rack, and take her outside onto the grounds. This loading dock/maintenance area was next to the door and we thought it would make a good contrast to her outfit. She gave us some strange poses to try for an "edgy" feel.
