| focus has missed here - you must get back then zoom in - use slower exposure to allow greater depth of field - side lighting would help |

Thinking out loud:
Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. The punnishment for Pride is to be broken on the wheel. It is represented by the horse and the color violet.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation. The punnishment for Envy is to be put in freezing water. Envy is represented by the dog and the color green.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
The punnishment for Gluttony is to be force fed rats, toads and snakes. Gluttony is represented by the pig and the color orange.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body. The punnishment is to be smothered in fire and brimstone. Represented by the cow and the color blue.

Ok...that works. Now that I figuredout what sin I think this represents...on to the photo...
The angle and framing/cropping are good. placement of the cigarettes are very nice as to where the butts are placed and make a really cool pattern, however there is a slight angle of the cross, no big deal. The wine glass is a bit out of focus, and I wonder if that was done on purpose, or simply because it was too close to the camera. Lighting is very nice and I like the overall effect of the photo. Great representation (requiring some thought, but definately there). Also technically well executed as well. 8 Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

Interesting idea, nice colours and shapes. Yet somehow overall image lacks impact. Feels too set up for me, though generally I don't mind set up photos. Not articulating very well, apologies. Also don't like soft focus on glass and darkness to top left corner.

| I am not sure what message you are trying to get across here - the cross is a strong symbol. The whole image is a tad underexposed and the wine glass is out of focus. Nice composition (4) MarkRob |
