Great one John. Gave this a 10. It's a fantastic photo for the challenge and it has special appeal to me because I used to be an avid skateboarder. |

Now that is very well timed. |

I like it :) I think cropping it just above the ramp so all you can see is the skater, the sun, and the sky would also work well. |

this is pretty rad, one of my favorites. i can't decide if i would have just cropped out the rail completely and left him ollie-ing against the sun. :) nice work. |

One of the best in show. The stop motion, the silouette, the lens flare, and your positioning are all just great. I might try to lighten the sky just a bit to to a bit more definition to the upper body and head of your subject. A really great shot! 8 |

I like this shot. I only wish that the sun was not so distrating and that you added a bit more contrast to the silo of the cool cat skateboarding. 7 |

Superb shot, but I wonder if your monitor is calibrated badly. I feel your gamma should be a lot higher so the skateboarder's head stands out from the sky more. Great sun flare. Good composition. Excellent timing. |

It's tough getting an image when you're also shooting the sun straight on. This is a great shot, but do use care. Looking at the sun through your camera can cause eye damage. Not worth even the most special photograph for! 8 |

I like it as is, but I wonder about a fraction earlier timing - so that the person would have been blocking the sun and rim lit |

Wow, what a great silhouette picture for this challenge! |

Nice capture! Nice contrast and nice timing. The figure has an almost alien appearance / shape to him :-) solidified by the wearing of the helmet. |

Your subject is too dark, hard to tell what it is. |

Nice placement of the main subject. Sun a bit bright and the lens flare detracts a bit. Don't like the thin white border line. |

Crop above the structure and you have a perfect image. |

Cleverly captured and the sun well positioned too but his pose doesn't really appeal to me. His arms are too close to his body and look kind of strange. |
