Eventually I will learn to recognize your distinct style. I see that Posthumous identified this as yours early on. The brown ribbon king comes through again!

There seems to be a lot of artifacting, blurriness or some kind of weird visual stuff going on in this image.

that is a serious talent to be able to do that reliably - the shot seem more snapshot rather than photo contest entry, however

good use of negative space here, would like to see a different pov...maybe shot from insde the hole where the big pine was going to go?

I don't really understand the photo in terms of the challenge, and additionally, I don't care for the processing, it seems undersaturated.
