Day 10 of 30 Flowers
This was actually taken a few weeks ago but this is the perfect place to post it! My Orange Cosmos (yet again) with two very different insects about to touch antennae. I thought it was pretty cool, even if the technicals aren't perfect.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, dodged bee's wings and colored yellower, dodged ant, decreased brightness, increased contrast, toned down a bright spot on lower right by cloning at 50%, hue shifted yellow-greens to green and desaturated slightly, added border, resized, sharpened. |

| A fun capture. Slightly more DOF and sharp focus on the insects would have been nice, but sometimes ya gotta take the shot they give you. Thanks for posting this one. |

That bee looks HUGE in scale with the ant! really gives a sence of what he looks like from the ants perspective.
The shimmer in the bees wings is spectacular golds.
