I like the composition and the contrast, although I find that the softness of the glow filter seems to overpower everything else.

Very interesting! It reminds me of going to church. Back in the day girls had to have something covering their heads, and it was usually lacy.

I looked at the thumb for a long while before clicking. I was perplexed by the image of a small girl. This shot is really out there, for me. A thought provoking image and one I could look at for a while.

Very striking shot - but almost disturbing as well with that stare . . .

With your head tilted this way, you have a giant head/eyes thing going on. Almost looks alien. Could be the soft glow or the change of shadows :) Whoever said it down below me here... there is something off about the eyes. I know you didn't PP them that way, but they are a little odd to look at. Unless that is what you were going for. In that case, ROCK ON!! :)
