Day 18 of 30 Flowers
A silly picture ;-) This is from an evening wedding a few weeks ago. I noticed that this bud looked remarkably like Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors so I had to shoot it. The rest of the flower arrangement behind it makes for a nice impressionistic background.
Wasn't using the flash because I didn't want to inadvertently mess up the photos of the people being paid to take pictures!
PP - converted from RAW, levels, white balance, reduced noise, dodged Audrey, 2nd layer (Gaussian blur, merged in multiply mode at 30% transparency), blurred background some more in spots, colored stem towards bottom where red had leaked onto it, added border, resized, sharpened. |

| i didnt see the little shop of horrors but after reading your comment that bud has become personified for me .. as a thumb i was drawn to this image because of the deep intense colours ..:) |
