Shot myself in the living room. I wanted to create an "historical" look at this picture. I don't think this will go pretty high (above 5 i would be happy) but I personnaly like it.

This one is too staged for me, the props don't move the story forward and in fact don't match the story at all. Archimedes was Greek and none of this looks Greek to me.

A little heavy handed on the editing for my tastes.

This one is awesome. The composed scene (with props and colortones) makes me feel like I've travelled back in time. The floating balls are a great touch. lol the pi symbol looks like a smiley face from my perspective. Perfect photo for the challenge. 10

Looks very cool - like a painting I would see in an art gallery. My only nit is that his left hand is directly behind the candle and is blown out on the wrist. Maybe moving the camera back(or cropping wider) and spacing the candles a little further apart would have fixed that. Still good enough for a 7.

Interesting look. Did you mean for it look like your hand is coming out of the candle?

Well done. I think the sepia is key to the mystical feel. So creative and so well composed I can forgive the blowouts in several places. Really enjoyed this one.

I have to deduct one point for trying to make Archimedes Medieval, so that's a 9 for you.

maybe you should have moved the candle under his arm, his hand is gonna catch fire :/
