Yellow flowers!! my favorites.. and this one is so beautiful! and I know what you mean about the wind, since I started taking macro pictures, I don't like the wind that much anymore (LOL) |

love that fantastic yummy yellow .. its pretty difficult to shoot this sort'v photograph when there's a brisk wind .. so that makes it doubly excellent .. great shot .. :) |

Now I'm going to have to go find a dandelion and see if it has those cool little orange arms yours has :-) Great detail; it's always good to see an everyday thing from a new perspective! |

I confess I don't pay much attention to the aperture setting -- I prioritize ISO first because my camera sensor is so noisy, then shutter-speed to (usually) minimize the blur. I let the camera set the aperture, unless I have a composition where it's essential to control the DOF more than the noise.
In the case of this dandelion, I had some slack in the shutter-speed because of bright, late-afternoon sunlight. If I had seen how this would come out -- I was in the parking lot on my way home from work -- I might have opened the aperture more to further blur the fence, though that might also have made the foreground too OOF for some folks. |

General, You undoubtedly have the most unique entries of all! From dead to dandelion. Gotta love it.
I am amazed at the aperture, ISO, and shutter speeds you employ. |

Throughout my life I've "popped so many babies' heads off", but couldn't have told you that your photo was of a dandelion. I have really got to stop and pay attention! |
