 Day 234 of 30 Flowers

Back to the buttefly bush because I had one of my less common butterflies show up yesterday afternoon. LOVE the light coming through the wings in this one :-) Would have saved it for this month's FS except it has purple in it, and I think some people are a little burnt out on purple.

Had the 12mm extension tube on so I could get a little closer view of my visitor.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, dodged/burnt butterfly and flower some, increased contrast, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction.

My FS has purple in it, I guess I will take my chances. This is most excellent shot! I love the focus, the light and the composition. The green background stands out over the purple to me. Its a minor element in the overall show. I would enter it anyway!
