Ok my first critique in awhile... I clicked on CC and 191 photos await!
Then clicked on give me a image and I got lucky!
Cause I got a photo I could relate too!
and this challenge is over....
Man why I did not vote on this one....Its a good one....
Lets see to make it better,
I would have another color background to bring out the guitar, its awesome brown havent seen electric like that...its really good DOF accept I think the hand on the left maybe a little more focus would help, but what do I know this is probably done while hes playing.... So really this is a great photo to me....its hard for me to give any constructive critism for it.......reading other comments now.....
Lots of pros and cons.....and by the way...this is very original its yours...And I believe guitars and the hands should be the center or focus of a good still photograph been trying to master it myself.... like giving critiques in away!
Dont give up ! and it must be late had to edit cross the t's and dot the i's......
Anyways hope to see more of your photos here...

This type of picture is very common. It is not an original idea. |

Too blurry for my taste. I also know nothing about how to play a guitar, so I wouldn't ever really know if this is an amazing new chord progression. I do like the colors and the fact that at least you stepped out of the box. |

Godd color and use of DOF |

A new progression might be serendipitous, but the shot doesn't show it too well. Maybe more ghost images of your fingers in different spots on the frets? |

I like the border and tones, and I can understand by the title how it meets the challenge. Nice picture, but a little wider DOF would have been nicer.

This image relies entirely on the title. The challenge is to find something/someone/etc. that you didn't expect to find. Find the serendipity in the actual subject, don't make the subject surrendipitous by adding a 'discovery' title. |

I like the angle and the depth of field. The motion blur also really adds a great element to the image. |

Needs a little bit more depth of field...unless that was the effect you were looking for... |
