You probably exposed for the shadows, the result is that de background (and even a part of the horse) are completely blown out. In advanced editing, it's normally possible to improve that.
This said, the horse's fur is cool. |

not sure i like the angle of this. if you could get the horse to turn his head and loook at you you'd have a great photo |

The ground is a bit washed out along with the upper portion of his backside. It seems your camera may have exposed for his brown portion and hence the shutter stayed open for too long. |
