Gorgeous image that IMO is much, much better than it finished here.
Beautiful color/light, nice DOF, tack sharp, and dramatic. Nice capture all the way around. Conveys the playful "snort and blow" "Look at ME" expression, to me.
I'd love to have had an image like this of my own stallion.

no vote but drop dead gorgeous image. I appreciate the difficulty in getting a shot like this. a rare image that you have mastered. Love the drama in the light and so amazing that you kept the shady-side eye-light and the highlights on the body so well. A true master of horse images. |

Not sure I'm comfortable with the angle of this shot. It's almost as if you startled the horse. But aside from that and my compulsion to want to crop off the white blob at top-left, you nailed the dof, light and colour. |

I like how one side is lit and the other is dark.
Overall though the picture would have been better with the dark horse against a lighter background. |
