I thought someone found a big pile of crack or coke or some thing like that. I was REALLY confused. : ) Nice shot though.... |

I like the golden glow the sepia gives it. I also like the way you burned out the flower, so that it could be any wonderful thing.
I think you captured the challenge nicely. |

Matthew,
you & I would be the only ones that liked this shot. :)
Thanks much for adding it your fave list! I am humbled & flattered!
I too love the idea of this shot. I perhaps could have executed it better but it was kinda last minute. Thanks for appreicating the vision of it. I believe you got what I was aiming for!
Thanks again! |

This is an excellent photo! I believe you captured serendipity quite nicely here, very unique and imaginitive. What I love is the mystery of the light, it leaves viewers (such as myself) captivated and very interested. I really enjoy this shot a lot, too bad it didn't score higher, but that doesn't really matter, because I like it for how it is. Nice work! |

This is an interesting and mysterious image, even if it is staged as I suspect. I guess the moral is, if you are going to stage it, put some imagination into it. I'm not sure what the glowing object is, which is mysterious part. I like the composition and the choice of sepia for this image. I'm not sure if it captures a serendipidous moment but I like the photo very much. |

Interseting shot. The colour here doesn't seem to have the appeal that a B&W shot might have produced. |

I like the sepia but the light on the flower is so bright that I just can't make it out. I think a more gentle light would have helped. |

Sorry, I don't understand your subject. Discovery of fire? If so, the modern context of pavement and the model's shoes and clothes don't work. Sepia was a nice choice in this case. I guess more definition on the white object would make this all clearer to me---now I'm wondering if that's a flower..... |

Sorry for the "huh". What I meant to say, is that I don't understand what this is. A flashlight? A bug? It just doesn't say to me, "I've accidentally made a good discovery, and this is what it is." |
