I have not been very successful getting a pic of a horse this week which is ironic seeing as my entries almost always seem to be of horses or something to do with a horse.

I dropped my 80-200 2.8 Canon lens today and fortunately had screwed the UV filter onto it which smashed and the lens seems to be okay except the focus ring just keeps turning which I dont think is right. I have been really bumbed about that so this was shot with one of my wide angle kit lenses and is the best of the worst on a very hot day.

Didn't think it was right to not enter this one and seeing as my last entry really bombed at 4.7 odd I hope this one does a bit better. I was hoping that the horses would group together but they all strung out and I could only capture one at a time.

That's my sob story and I'm sticking to it LOL.

I have to bump up the score on this - because your greens are so much better than the ones I've just seen.

Could have benefitted from a tighter crop. The hazy background could use some tonal contrast and saturation help.

lovely horse, but the background doesn't quicte seem all the way there. maybe a higher f/stop would have made everything in focus. not sure if thats what you aimed for, its just what i would have done-5
