Beautiful Strawberry Roan Paint horse..
Am thinking how he would stand out w/o the other horses in the bg and perhaps taken from a different perspective..
Nice clarity and gorgeous animal.. Good Luck..

You chopped off his feet! Nice color and DOF. A dignified old man too (notice the sway in his back) Bet he gets more roan every year. The horses in the BG tell some of the story but it would have been more ideal if they had been smaller (further away) YOu can also squat down or walked down the hill, to move the horizon line down which would have hidden them a bit more and maybe even shown their grazing head under his belly. That also would have retrieved his feet for ya.

Nope, an Appy not a Paint. But a nice shot nonetheless.

actually it's an Appaloosa, but still a lovely horse. OMG that swayback...

So lucky to be out in a field. The three horses behind really add to the picture's mood. Nice capture.

Love the DOF. Seems a touch "tight" at the bottom, but shooting horses is tough. I did it for 2 hours yesterday and had the same problem.

Um, varnish roan Appaloosa. But how were you to know. Nice grouping and tones!
