Totally missing a horse --- and all of those shoehorn comments were deserved. Really wanted to visit my horse in time to get some pictures for this contest, but (alas) it didn't happen. The saddle was close at hand though and it might have been on a horse...

But where is the horse? :-D
I actually like the fact that your entry doesn̢۪t have one.

Hopefully not too many people will vote this down for not featuring a horse as the subject. It's a lovely, rich, detailed saddle shot.

simple but effective, esp. with diagonal and light

Oh, you are so gonna get DNMC'd! But I love this - just wish the stirrup wasn't quite so yellow.

I love the shades of reds and oranges, though, some people may not put two and two together.

I love this as an abstract. Warm tones, nice lines... but where's the horse(s)? Don't make me have to think, don't make me use my imagination. I don't have time. Three seconds is all you get, and dammit, I want some horsies! ;P

Lack of a horse, huh? :)

Hmmm on the one hand the challenge description clearly states 'take a picture of one or more horses' but on the other hand the saddle is probably made of one or more horses . . so I guess it fits in :- )

nice detail and composition, but a little lacking in living horse.

Looks good but this outside the bounds of the challenge I think.

If I didn't know what the challenge was, I would be scratching my head wondering exactly what this is. Unfortunately, a lot of people are going to be looking for a horse.
