Yep. Echinacea (coneflower, sometimes two words). There are many varieties. Nice depth of field for showing it off :) |

I have always like the combination of colors int these flowers. This has a lovely garden feel to it, I expect to see a butterfly any second. |

Poor tattered coneflower. They remind me of rocketships with the petals hanging down like this, though a spiky cone isn't very aerodynamic, is it? |

This is actually very neat! Symbolic. Feathers on a headdress. Custer's last stand. (But that was the other way around, wasn't it? The indians beat up the soldiers.) |
