 simple shot, yes... but this was last minute and I think it came out pretty good... basic editing, just adjusted exposure, contrast of midtones, and brightness. Im not expecting too much of this one but I hope you like it!

Die the hair dark before you do this kind of shot. Really that's elementary photography...
OK that was a feeble joke. Even so, while the eye is (very) good, I think it's just too much off to one side while the rest of the picture is washed out. I know it has to be washed out on account of the overexposure, but I think it's a composition thing - the white out left is perhaps unnecessary and you could maybe have done a little juggling, bringing the iris onto a thirds conjunction.
Great impact in a small section of the picture :)
