 Some times you just get lucky.. I was late to valley Forge because if the traffic. I was mad because I wanted deer shots. I drove once around the Encampment but it was too dark. The sky was turning this cool shade of red.And I was content to just shoot some landscape that was boring except for the shy when this guy showed his head and I realized it was all by design.

it's a lovely scene. I don't know what it is about the flowers to the right of the deer but I'm not keen on them.

On a side note, I expect you'll be looking forward to the photographic opportunities you'll get with rutting season soon.

I like the muted colors in the evening sky in this shot. I would have been tempted to try amping up the saturation, but I think it works well as you have presented it. It invokes a nice, mellow, winding down the day feeling.
