Hmmm. In spite of the title, I felt it was shoehorned and I did not fully get the connection with dolls until I read the comment by  Love6. That's what happens when I speed-vote, while attempting to do a decent amount of commenting at the same time. I take back my previous "but..." and exchange it for an "attaboy".

| not a big fan looks scary and if you are using "dolls" in the way people find women I think this was the wrong way though I guess I also see your other point there as well |

I'm not sure if this quite fits most peoples opinions of what a doll is :) but I like the out of box thinking and the image itself is amazingly done - the lighting is well done- I gave this a high score and hope it does well despite literal linear thinkers ;) models are the dolls of the fashion world- dressed up set on a stage posed and prettied up and or starved until they're nearly non-existent --its a sad reality - but a beautiful photograph --
my first reaction by the way was: -anorexia nervosa? then it took me a few moments to look over the image and the lighting and the pose... -- all well done -- high score |

| The light is unflattering to the model's skin. Her fingers looks nicotine stained and her tummy and neck look dirty. I don't think it fits criteria but the idea is really, really good. I just think a softer light would've been more attractive. |

Does that make you one of the puppetmasters?
I like the subdued tones in the picture. Possibly make a better point if you had dressed her up as a doll rather than just a semi naked woman. |

| Really good tone and light. Also like the complementary shade of the wall behind. I find the floating right hand a little distracting. I guess you'll get hammered for DNMC, but I'm adding to favourites and giving it 10 anyway. |
