Interesting photo, but I don't see what is supposed to be immovable. Everything here looks like it can be moved pretty easily.

Glad I'm not a fish today.

Not sure i see the person trying to move something immovable here. The cropping off the end of the tail is a shame. However the light is good and the photo is sharp

The shallow depth of field works nicely here :).

Nice shot, but does it fit the category?
09/13/2008 11:40:13 AM
I think this shot could of been sharper.

I don't get it.

Youll b hated because of the buject matter but I dont mind I like fishing.

The none fisherman is gonna cry. Pity the tail is clipped off.

Interesting photo, not sure where the immovable object is though.

Fish creep me out so much.....good focus.

I think what you're trying to show is the fish trying to move out of the immovable 'death grip'? It just isn't very well communicated in this picture.
09/10/2008 08:40:54 PM
I'm not sure about this. The fish are certainly immovable on their own, being dead and all, and the hand can move the dead fish, but ????? Well, it's a well exposed picture and sharp! :-)

The fish look dead already, how could they move the grip! Maybe a longer shutter speed could have captured some movement. Although a noob here, my advice is to take an image that meets the challenge without the help of a title. Shallow DOF is nice, though image is a little dark.

Fish are immovable? I don't get it.

This does nothing for me

Great lighting on the fish. I love the silvery sheen

so movable? immovable? (4)
09/10/2008 12:21:59 PM
There's certainly nothing more immovable than death, at least in the dead.
09/10/2008 08:39:45 AM
I think I get it -- good lighting, but the shot doesn't do a lot for me. . .
09/10/2008 04:27:19 AM
hmm, not getting the feeling of someone moving an immovable object...
09/10/2008 01:16:10 AM
So what is immovable here..death grip? Makes sense. The shot is also well executed. still missing that aesthetic appeal.
