When I was a child I often had a dream of a building like this. This image reminds me of this dream although in my dream an orchestra was playing in it ;). Love it. Wonderful b/w tones.

I love this one, as it reminds me of a special place, in my home town, where I was born, as they had a rotunda just like this one, in the Queens Park.....
We went there often, to special nights with stalls, music with a brass band, and a chocolate wheel, which I loved....
I am going to add this image as a favorite, because I love the image, and also love my memories as well..

How did I get the sky so dramatic? Well I don't think I can take credit for what the sky looked like, hehe :) All I did was darken the top a tiny little bit using a very large burn brush in PS.

I really like the tones in this shot. Too bad about the distortion on the roof of the bandstand...but I'm sure the larger image doesn't have that problem. The only thing I would change is the border. I happen to like borders, but I think this one is too heavy for this shot.

Perhaps just a bit over-sharpened, and I would have liked more contrast between the water and the sky on the right, but it is a lovely photo just the same.

The best part of this is the contrast and lighting. For me, that keeps drawing my eye regardless of the actual scene. I like this very much becuase I keep wanting to look at it longer.

What a charming photo! Like a little time warp to a more mellow era. I'd have preferred to see all of the flower-bed on the left, otherwise, it's perfect!

Beautiful image! Love the contrast on the building. The right side by the trees is a bit hot but otherwise this image is terrific! Good luck on the challenge.

Beautiful composition, great backlight, very special atmosphere. I wonder how you got the bandstand so light and clear while having the trees in silhouette (strong flash used ?).

Lighting is great and I love the high contrast. Composition is great with the two trees, diagonal line of the fence and wonderfully ornate bandstand. A great image!
