This one should have wound up in the winners circle. It's powerful and gritty and frankly I don't understand why so many of those making comments didn't get it. Keep up the great work! |

This one made me stop to try and determine what the message is. I'm not really sure what's going on here, but I like it. |

It is a shame that the top of the fingers has been cropped off. The noise through the background unfortuntely annoys me here as well. I like the idea both with the shot and the post processing though... |

I like the tones in this photo, but I think theres a bit too much grain. It looks like its been sharpened a bit too much. |

I couldn't make my mind up about this image.IMO the color is a little off putting and it may not be so, but it looks like it has a lot of noise. |

I'm a little put off by the shiny oil or whatever it was you coated the hands and arms with. Combined with the shadow, it almost looks like there is a chunk out of the right hand thumb. Otherwise very nice entry. |

Crop too close - very nice. But how is it immoveable? |

I like it. The graininess of the image works well. |

Nice abstract. Maybe an additional light source from between the arms to reduce the very dark shadow might have another feel? |

Although this is a nice photo I'm not sure where the immovable object is or how a prayer fits the subject matter. background has a lot of noise as well. |

I'm not sure I fully understand this shot. Is it two hands trying to touch through the immovable barrier?
The little things that bother me in the pic is the desaturation - it doesn't seem consistent - there are little patches of colour on the arm that don't match. And I don't really like the way the fingertips have been cropped off, it loses the shape of the praying hands.
I think with a little more work it could be a powerful image though. |

"Take a photo of someone trying to move an immovable object." Looked at this image a few times before voting. Don't see how it meets challenge or what your thoughts could have been regarding the object.
The treatment is interesting. Not a fan of the resulting noise from the oversharpening. |

This is a great image but I cannot tell that there is anything immovable. That really dark spot on the right hand is driving me crazy. It looks like the man has a hole in his hand. |

I like the original concept and the composition with the two hands. Unfortunately there is for me a number of technical issues: the shot is very noisy and the right hand is cut at the top. So i gives me the feeling of a good idea but a disappointing execution. |

This image can be read in so many ways: I'm seeing a black/ white racial divide with the ugliness reinforced with the harsh lighting. Maybe the thin prayer is a comment on the lack of understanding between the two? |

The pp is the strength in this image. When I look at it, I do not really see Immovable. Yet, it has a certain appeal to it. |

Wow! How did you think of that? Powerful depiction of the topic. The grains add to the strength of the image. |
