I like this exactly as it is - colours, expression, sea urchin, composition and title - everything tickles the cockles and muscles of my heart. Beautiful photography. |

Interesting Dipiction of the topic, and in my opinion meets the challenge, thiking outside the square. I like the black background, but maygbe a little more contrast with the colours in the shawl. Also, the light is uneven, with the right side (right arm/shoulder) disappearing into the darkness. |

Nice lighting, and saturation. A compostion is a little too centered for me. Otherwise nice work. |

A good idea but the overall image is a bit bland fo my liking.
Maybe a deeprer DOF or stronger lighting would have helped. |

I love the set-up of this, though the significance of the shell instead of a crystal is lost on me, I'll admit. |

Funny! Great concept and well carried out. I might have positioned the hands above the sea urchin, palms down to simulate the levitation idea a bit more, but this is good too!

Interesting take on the challenge. Hope you don't get too many DNMCs for your creativity. There seems to be some nice colors on the clothing that are lost in the darkness. While this may have been a creative choice, I think it would have added to the image had they been brighter. |

Intense portrayal of the topic. The scene could have been a bit more powerfully composed (perhaps with the camera close to the object looking above to the actress), but not bad. High score for originality! |
