It looks like the water shooting up and blowing away in combination with the rainbow forms a sail... an oversized, translucent sail... |

Not bad for a 34-year old fountain! April 25, 1970 was the inauguration of the 140 meter Captain Cook Memorial squirter. (not bad for a Yank, issit?) |

Great colors - the rainbow adds a great touch. The receding shoreline make you think the horizon isn't straight - but it also looks like the building slopes down to the left. Great composition to get the entire water spout. |
