sweet, yeah pretty much just really lazy bout the whole thing. didnt want to go back n redit it basically from the beginning but its at the wedge in newport beach and the picture is way way more clear in full form. but think bout the percentage of the pic that is a wave, and the amount taken up by the bodyboarder....the 20d autofocus isnt top notch and thats basically wat is shown. This seems to not be as clear as it should be, so I looked at the file details. I think the lack of clarity is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. Your file size of only 64k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing a lot of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one)
You also had another 40 pixels of image size you could have used for the horizontal. Always make use of the maximum possible size in at least one direction. |

| This is pretty good. The activity is risky and I'm not sure but I get the feeling that even taking the shot was risky. Good composition and good exposure. Wish the body boarder could have been a little more clear though. It almost looks like the focu point was on the edge of the wave. Good work! |
