 This is my daughter's basketball. I was inspired by Eastbay's cover on their magazine. Of course theirs is actually a good picture -- unlike this one.

This picture is about as exciting as dog poop (Hey, there is an idea for bummer), but I had a great need to enter. :(

if you hadnt put basketball in the title i wouldnt have known that was a basketball, cool parterns though

Nice idea, but does not give a strong sense of colour. This could easily be a balck and white item. However, the texture is good, the composition also good. Would have been great with some more even light, as the upper part if overexposed, and the lower underdone.

A very good B&W abstractish kinda thing! I have no idea what the colors are, though from your title I shall guess pink is one of them? If this isn't scoring particularly well, it's probably because the color isn't apparent by the nature of the object. (Same thing with my shot, by the way!)
