I know there are soooo many technical flaws here (the bright light on my head from the window behind me, the crappy placement of the flower, the curl blocking the light in my left eye and making it look weird) but it really is better than the crappy pic I took for the pajamas challenge. I have such terribly low self esteem so submitting this was really a big thing for me. I hope it doesn't score too badly, though I know it's pretty poor quality. I went for a purple theme, of course :) God my roots look awful, that's about the only good thing about the bright light, it hides them a bit! I'm expecting maybe 4.70 for this one, maybe a little under.
Editing: Crop, resize, noise removal, sharpen, brightness/contrast tweaking using levels, I upped the colour balance to be a little warmer and added the border. |

| Nice pose, pretty girl. The embroidery on the background is distracting and the light on top of the head is a little too bright. |

Well, we all know who this is.
I'd suggest cutting back on the smoothing a bit, personally. Also, coming out from the background can help cut down on the flash/strobe shadows.
What on earth did you need validation for? hehe |
