This is a great shot. The expressions on both subjects, and the lighting makes the viewer smile. What more could one want from a photograph? Love it. 10!

I had probably made this photo a little darker. But I can see there was a problem with the cat, because it´s black and white and he/she can´t disappear totally. Anyway - nice shot, great composition. perfect in B&W. /carsten

had to think about this one. at first its just a pretty cay pic (and pretty lady) but then there is a lot going on in terms of lighting too. I give it high marks.

Very good photo of the lady, and I am liking the cat's lighting more and more, didn't like at first cause it's too dark, but it's growing on me, plus the glare on the lady's shoulder, you couldn't brighten up the shot much more. Don't normally like B&W, but this seems like a good use of that technique. upgraded 7 to 8. Swash

This may be the best portrait pic I've seen on here. If not the best, my favorite. You will be in my top 10 or better (after I vote on a few more, like 220 more). This is wonderful lighting, composition, I could go either way on B&W. I bet it would be killer in color too. Great Job!! - Inspzil

Nice concept - I can see where you're going with this - just a little bit too dark around the cat's face for my liking - takes a long time to realise what your looking at. Otherwise a great photo.

I don't care what other people say...I like photos with pets. This kitty is well loved and this photo shows it. The only thing that I would have done is to move the light a little over to the right so that the other side of the kitty's face was showing more and maybe the woman should have worn a darker shirt so that her shoulder wouldn't have been overexposed as much. That's just my take on it. I really like this photo and the emotion of love for our pets. :-) 9

One of my favorites, for sure. I could tell, just looking at the thumbnails. Great use of lighting. Very natural looking pose. I like the contrast between the model's casualness and the cat's intensity. 9

Very soft and sublte. The cat seeems to a little bit on the dark side though.
