Once upon a time there was a dear little girl who was loved by every one who looked at her, but most of all by her grandmother, and there was nothing that she would not have given to the child. Once she gave her a little cap of red velvet, which suited her so well that she would never wear anything else. So she was always called little red-cap.

I Know that I will be down marked because my model is only a doll, sorry but we can’t always use live models in this day and age unless you have a child of your own to fit the challenge.

A comment made while shooting this scene "Can't get the real thing so you photograph doll's Bloody Pedophile" by an old codger passing by that I had a Few words to say to.

Made the hat cloak with the help of my wife Carol, and created the fox look alike for the shoot, and took of down to the local Botanical gardens for the background,A nice breeze was blowing to give the effect of movement.

LOL - I realize it wasn't very funny at the time, but the old codger's comments remind me that we probably do look kinda silly when we're doing stuff for challenges! Probably hard for some people to understand. And I thought the wolf was a nifty touch. Very good job getting the setting to match in scale to to the figures, too!

Hilarious shooting story. Sorry you were subjected to the ridicule of passers-by!

the wolf is good - reasonably realistic but the doll just doesn't work for me

Perhaps a bit too simple of shot to compete well in this challenge.

5 - Ha ha, just noticed the wolf. Extra points for that.

With SO many people choosing this theme, and using real people, I imagine you're having a little trouble with the score on this one. On technical points the photo is crisp and well-lit. Probably could use a little more space below the shows (feels crowded). Good luck in the challenge.

The wolf peeking in through the trees is a nice touch!

I believe your composition let you down in this pic. While it's a good idea to include the wolf in the background, did you consider changing the POV? May be a view from over the wolf's head onto her might have changed the perspective. And if you then focused on his head, blurring out the girl, it might not have been so obvious that she is a puppet? Just ideas to play with.

Is that a wolf picture? Kind of corny with the doll, but still effective

You know, this is the third time I've looked at this shot in full screen and it's the first time I've seen the "wolf." I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. The hyper-bright coloring of the doll causes eveything else to blend together...which is probably why I didn't see the wolf until now.

You probably could've left the doll out altogether and had a stunning photo (with some brightening of the foliage.)

That wolf picture would've worked a lot better if the trees were darker but I like the idea, kudos on making a decent shot out of what you have!

since you only had a doll for a model. I would have taken the photo from a different angle (maybe behind?) i'm a little confused with what's going on with the wolf, he looks a little neon, but the color is great in the leaves and vines
