I love the texture, although I feel that I'd prefer to see the centre portion (the word 'Washington' particularly) completely in focus. |

Not sure what I think about that.
It is a very busy object with high contrast to begin with.
You isolated the imtersting parts well. Did you think of arranging the plain of focus diagonally not almost parallel to the border?
And thanks for your comment on the alien boobies :)
I have to admit this was my first thought when I saw them:)
For them I made an exception in my theme: no bugs or flowers in the side challenge. I'm glad I am not the only one seeing them.

You stole it from the policeman whilst he was cautioning you for harassing some poor woody when trying to talk him in to doing a photoshoot with you for the upside down challenge?
Nice picture, although the DOF hurts my eyes if I look at it too long
