| I like the moodiness very much. Waht caught my attention right away was the cone at the bottom left. I had to stare at for a long time and admiring how the sharpness changes into softness. It's not only sharp to blurred, if you can guess what I mean :) |

| At first I thought I didn't like the narrow DOF and having the lower cone so out of focus, but the more I look at it, the more I think it really enhances the paint-like quality of the image. The way the needles fade away, they really do look like brush strokes, and the cones almost start to look like flowers. The vibrancy is great, too. Cool shot. |

| This almost looks like a piece of jewelry. The DOF is wonderful with the detail in the needles and that top cone. The solid green background is perfect. Amazing how the green needles can stand out from the background with the same color. Very nice. |

| The colors are so kind to each other, and really help to make this macro pop..... The composition, detail, color and DOF, all work together, to make this a very pleasing macro to view..... |
