This young long necked Cormorant was hatched in a hole at the end of the old tree in the Arkarra lagoons in the suburb of Dundowran Hervey Bay, Shortly after taking this shot fell into the water and swam around and had to waddle out back onto the tree. Took some of the parent bird feeding but liked this shot for the challenge.

This shot STILL cracks me up! The poor little birdie doesn't know what to do with all these ginormous parts attached to him! I might've tried to put him a little less dead centre but I really can't suggest any way to improve the pp, it looks great to me.

Funny looking bird. Took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at.

That is very cute (what on earth is it???), but on my screen it looks as though you've pumped the blue up a little too far, so it loses detail on the ....bird...., and the water looks a little surreal

I don't know this water bird at all - very strange looking with that large crop and small head. looking forward to finding which country it was taken in.
