I smiled when I saw this during voting and it was one of my higher rated shots. Surprised a little at where this ended up. It was a hit for sure with those that commented on it during voting, averaging a score of 8.
The editing on this is very nice. Great detail in the original capture certainly was there. The natural colors really pop on this. From my seat I'm not seeing anything needing attention...wonderfully done! |

She's beautiful! You couldn't have caught her at a better moment, looking right at you and framed with the lovely yellow flowrs. Great focus too. |

One of my favourite of the many deer entries - you have retained the feeling of a surprise encounter, of naturalness, whilst getting close, something I was unable to do. If the oof leaves across the animal were missing, it would have been a 10 from me, as is a strong 8. Really, very impressive. |

lol, I don't know why but her "expression" makes me laugh, like you really did sneak up on her. Very nice surroundings you caught her in. |

My, but she looks alert! I would tone down the saturation on the greens and yellows so she could better enjoy center stage here. I might play with cropping tighter, too, though I like the framing you achieved. |

Love those eye lashes! Nice and sharp. I would have cropped the right 1/4 to 1/3 to off-center the deer and make it look like she was just coming out of the brush. Pretty colors. |
