Hi Scott, it is a lovely shot - "cutesy" I'd say :)
A few issues I had with it though, are: underexposure, possible incorrect white balance (the whites look blue), noise in the shadows, and not getting the "tiger fight" feel at all due to the angle and tight crop.
Some things to keep in mind: play with your white balance and really look at the changes it makes to your photograph - Set to Cloudy will 'warm' up images, and set to Sunny will 'cool'; experiment with different angles - low down looking upward or at eye level with your subject will give it an extra something, and a wider crop (particularly in this instance) will help viewers understand the complete story when there is one you want to tell.
If you really want critique as opposed to comments, best to post in the forums afterward or ask for a Critique Club comment when submitting to a challenge.
Hope this helps! |

Thanks to everybody who voted ( even the 14 of you who thought this no better than a 3 ). I appreciate it when people here at DPC take the time to leave a comment. Truthfully I would prefer some sort of critique as opposed to a compliment. I hope to become a better photographer with a little help from you all here.
There really isn't much 'wildlife' running around where I live. The zoo offers the only reasonable option for a sure pic of a 'wild' animal. I envy those who have nature at their back door. I did what I could with what was available. |

The one facing the camera looks really surprised, haha. Beautiful animals. The focus on them is really good and their colour is lovely. |

I like the tiger facing us but I wish the angle of the shot was different so that you weren't looking at the back of the second tiger's head. You can't really see what the other tiger is doing. The facing tiger's expression and paw w/claws showing are great. I would have burned out the grass/leaves in the background in order to draw more attention to the animal. Overall a 6.
