after challenge********

I'm a little sad the score is as low as it is, but I can't complain. This week I've doubled the number of 6+ scores I have. So thanks to everyone who commented and voted on it one way or the other.

Perhaps it would have done better outside the Free Study Challenge (i.e. Red III or something).

I was surprised when I realized that this is pretty much the exact same shot smyk made a couple years ago.

Anyway, thanks again to MattO for starting the Macro Side Challenge last month. Thanks to everyone who participated in that and helped me along. If not I wouldn't have shot this.

Cheers.

I feel just the opposite (about the meaning part). Just like sunrises, landscapes, and even people, water drops can look very boring and mean nothing, or, with creativity, they can convey something special. This clearly took some creative effort along with the technicality and it says a fair bit more than just "drip, drip". Congratulations on a well executed photo.

I agree, absolutely. A lot of work went into the making of this and the result is well worth looking at.
Brian, you would probably have won the Red III challenge with this ;-)

Great job. I don't understand the title. It's a nice pic without the title.

I don't know what the caption means. Not very original, but ok

I have seen this done so many times before but nice touch with the heart. I imagine it took rather a lot of shots to achieve this. Well done.
