 Well this is my first ever entry on DP so please be gentle :D

I looked for the grubbiest and most war torn coin I could find, I think it's quite evident this old guy has been around for a while (I wish I had checked the date now).
It was shot using the 400D's standard kit lens, the 18-55mm with a screw on macro adpater which came with a cheap fisheye I bought. For the price this thing can get super close and super detail. It was shot with natural light coming through my window, with a high ISO hence the grain.

Edit: Tiny crop, curves, sharpen, save for web.
