I'm not sure here. It's sharp, but it does not seem sharp when I look at the whole image. I'm not sure if it's the lighting, or the fact that you did a closeup of such a worn and scratched coin. Not great, but not bad for me either. I don't find the orange background adds to it. |

To my eye there is either a little glare on the coin or the focus is a tad soft. There nothing about the image to really draw you in. |

A different composition might make this more interesting - instead of centering the subject, I would suggest shooting it from an angle and maybe even playing around with shallow depth of field. |
