katee was distressed last night .. one of her anal glands had become infected ..
we took her to the vet this morning .. she needed a vaccination and he also gave her an antibiotic injection for the infection ... the scene you see here is when the vet was giving her the injection ..
she is such a beautiful little soul .. greg didnt need to hold her mouth .. some dogs might bite in that situation ..
anyway .. i'm pretty biased ..
thankyou to my friend bob bootlegbob for the software, which i used liberally on this photograph ...:)

two other shots from today ..

I hope she's doing much better by now. She looks like she'd rather be anywhere but on that table. Great depth of field on the photo.

You got the moment. I can almost feel her discomfort. Poor little thing, I hope she was pampered when you got her home.

Love the photos, Roz - and especially the story. Katee's expression is such a riot!!

The photo of Katee and the other dog is so sweet and expressive - you wonder what they are saying to each other. Awesome work.

Awww, Katee looks so scared. I like how the eye is drawn right in on Katee.

Your editing does a great job of bringing the focus right to Katee. That's great that she didn't need to be completely muzzled, but she does look a bit distressed.

Awwwwwwwwww Roz, I hope Katee gets better soon. I had to take my doggie Shelby to the vet for her shots this afternoon. She did not like going much either. Love your processing on this.

Poor baby......she looks distressed. They sure do get uncomfortable with that. Not fun for the vet, either. Glad your vet is used to you......8>) Beautiful eyes.

Interesting effect put to good use here. She's a cute dog, looking just a bit concerned, but very trusting.

This is such a special moment. You can tell from her ears that she is uncomfortable, but that she trusts her human and willing to endure the discomfort because of that trust. I like that you captured her paw on his arm - almost like they are comforting each other. Great capture.

Aw, I can just feel her shaking. Love the light and DOF (or gausian blur & vignette). There is just enough information to see what is happening, but the light and focus keep the attention on the dog. Nicely finished.

What is "the software", just to be curious?

I like the processing on this -- really isolates katee and helps the focus be on her. I hope she is feeling better!
