We went to Warren Woods in Michigan today. I came across some berries when I was just heading into the woods on the trail. The light was shining on the berries perfectly and I loved how the pink leaves surrounded the red berry.

Once I got to processing I wasn't really liking how anything came out. I tried Fractalius and what you see is what I got.

This is a truly lovely result. The softness really pleases, and it so complements the delicacy and fragility of the plant. VERY nice!

I like this berry much, especially the colors and composition. I like the Fractalius effect but wonder how it would look with a hint less.

Very soft and nice looking with all those wonderful colors. I'm just missing some point of focus.

I like this a lot, 'cept for the bleeding of the red outside of the berry..
so soft and pretty, with nice textures and a sense of liquidity

I like the soft delicate nature of this one very much and also the feeling of motion blur.....

I like this, but I'm a big fan of a "razor sharp" subject. Regardless, it's a great slice of life shot, and I appreciate you sharing it.
