How did you ever do this in basic editing? It looks like the red and green smokes are swirling around each other. I would have thought it had to be light that gave the colors, but is the smoke really green and red?

What you did is very difficult and sometimes the simples things are the best. The red is maybe somewhat too dominant compared to the lighter green.
